Jason Oh

Gregoire Fellow at the University of Washington School of Law pursuing his Juris Doctorate degree

Jason Oh interned in the Summer of 2015 at the Sacramento office of Assemblymember Jim Patterson.  Upon completing his internship, Jason graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Agricultural Business and a minor in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from California State University, Fresno in 2016.

“Through the Kenneth L. Maddy Legislative Internship, I gained invaluable experiences that made me realize my passion and interest in law and policy.  I was given a platform to develop and hone my communication, research, and analytic abilities in order to grabble with real-world issues, which have served me great dividends in law school thus far.

I gained first-hand experience in public policy, constitute outreach, and the entire legislative process. During my time at the California Capitol, I was also able to engage with constituents from Fresno, which meant a lot to me. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity.”

Upon graduation, Jason clerked at Wild, Carter & Tipton Law Firm and is currently a Gregoire Fellow at the University of Washington School of Law pursuing his Juris Doctorate degree.
